Terms of use
Rules for using Joysticked.
Updated October 1, 2026
Using the service
Joysticked lets you discover games, create a profile, log activity, write reviews and organize lists. Creating an account or posting content means accepting these terms. You can browse the public catalog without an account.
Age and account
People aged 13 or over may browse the catalog. The current minimum account age is 16. People under 16 must not use someone else’s account. Keep your details accurate and do not share sign-in links or sessions.
Content and community
You retain rights in original text and media you post and allow Joysticked to store and display them within the service. Post only content you have the right to use. Harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, scams, account intrusion and any exploitation or sexualization of minors are prohibited. Do not expose others’ personal data.
Copying and data extraction
Bulk copying, scraping, unauthorized APIs and bypassing technical limits to extract other people’s profiles, reviews or data are prohibited. This rule does not limit your right to access, copy or transfer your own data through a legitimate request.
Reports and moderation
You can report reviews in the interface. Moderators may remove content, warn, suspend or ban accounts as appropriate. Reporting for profiles and comments and an appeals process still need to be built. Where required by law, we will explain moderation decisions and provide an appeal route.
Games and third parties
Game covers, names and marks belong to their owners. Catalog data may come from IGDB/Twitch and Steam. Google, Discord and Steam integrations are also subject to those services’ terms. A game appearing in the catalog does not mean it suits every age.
Availability, closure and changes
The service may be unavailable for maintenance or security. You can deactivate your account or request deletion in settings; a deletion request can be cancelled for 30 days. We will announce material changes to these terms before they apply where possible. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
